Meet Bandicoot 250, featuring Knog’s signature light-weight and durable one piece silicone strap.
Following the design queues of the Bilby headlamp, the Bandicoot 250 lumen headlamp sports a chromed heatsink on the face of the headlamp, and a removable pod design. Charging the Bandicoot headlamp pod is done using the integrated USB-A charging arm.
Available in four colourways, the Bandicoot 250 is built tough to be a brilliant all-rounder, with a feature set making it just as useful around the campsite as it is on multi-day hikes.
MULTIPLE LIGHT OPTIONS
The 4 sets of LEDs are optimally placed for their individual purpose – a high beam to see by, elliptical beams for broad ambient light, a red light for night/ low light and downlights for reading. On the brightest setting, the Bandicoot 250 has a range of up to 40 metres.
INTEGRATED USB RECHARGEABLE
One outstanding feature of this design is the fact that the USB is integrated into the lighting pod – which means no cables to lose or break. To recharge the headlamp, simply plug the pod into a USB-A port, and you’ll have a full charge in just 4 hours from flat.
MATTE SILICONE FINISH
The Bandicoot 250’s body and strap are moulded in matte finish silicone that won’t get caught in your hair. It’s easy to clean and is adjustable to fit head circumferences from 30-660mm. The silicone strap adjusts with a toggle, once you’ve found your size you can set and forget or adjust on the fly.

Got it as present and have used it now for about 2 years. It's very lightweight and doesn't take much space. I really like the built-in usb. The only flaw that I found is the silicone strap. It definitely looks good... Until it is dirty. Sadly, this matte finish is very vulnerable to hair and other small things. And, to make matters worse, my strap snapped in half one day when I was adjusting it for a hat. It's still usable, but does look a bit beaten up :)
Overall, I liked the light capabilities and design and definitely can recommend this light for Ultralight tourism (bike, feet) and for runners
Is purchased a headlight knog Good on my runs in the dark and the early mornings very good vision with it. Happy with my purchase deathly recommend it. Anyone do any sort of running walking exercise in dark areas.
Great headlamp! so useful for so many jobs, silicone is so much better than the old style cloth type that would loosen and hard to clean…

My partner and I love knog headlamps. The simple light piece popping out for a direct USB charge is so nifty when on the road or with a charging battery pack. You don't need to keep track of any annoying cables. Battery life is great and the silicone is perfect for going over a ski helmet without slipping! Big fan.
