ADVANCED LED'S & OPTICS

ADVANCED LED'S & OPTICS Knog Knog

There is no such thing as a universal bike-light. Depending on end use and even bike type dictate the best bike light to use.
Blinder Road utilises 2 LED’s each independently capable of 250lm of output or 400lm when use together. The LHS optic has 12-degree beam providing a spotlight which is perfect for racing and fast riding on smooth roads. Whilst the RHS Optic has 32-degree beam proving a flood light which is best suited for use on slower rides on bumpy or uneven riding conditions.

Each LED have a variety of flash patterns and function independent of the other.

UNIQUE FASTENING SYSTEM

UNIQUE FASTENING SYSTEM Knog Knog

Utilising silicone to create the elastomeric strap combined with an over-molded polycarbonate clip system allows Blinder Road to adapt to the many various configurations required of today’s road cyclist’s, many of whom have GPS systems on their bikes.

The Blinder Road is stylish and versatile enough to fit with a multitude of today’s high-end bicycle cockpits.

(Includes two removable silicone straps for bars 22-28mm & 29-35mm)

WATERPROOF & INTEGRATED USB CHARGING

WATERPROOF & INTEGRATED USB CHARGING Knog Knog

The Blinder road is 100% waterproof with a rating of IP67, which means you submerge your light in depths greater than 1 meter for over 30 minutes without damage (note if you are under 1 meter of water on your bike, the waterproofing of your light is probably the last of your worries).

The light is charged via integrated USB, which means so it does not require additional cables to charge from a USB Port as well as no need for single use batteries.

INTUITIVE FUNCTIONALITY

INTUITIVE FUNCTIONALITY Knog Knog

When your Blinder is running low on battery, a red led will light up next to the button. This ring will turn green when fully charged and then turn off once the Blinder is unplugged from the power source.

With a design that is wider rather than longer, accommodating the 2 optics side by side keeps the centre of gravity as close to the handlebar as possible which avoids the potential for movement on bumpy roads.

Finally, the Blinder Road’s buttons and strap closures are all at the perfect ergonomic angle to presents themselves to the rider buttons are long enough to be used while wearing gloves.

Excellent design and function

This Blinder Road 400 is my second Blinder Road. I bought my first one (BR 200) in 2015, and after hundreds of multi hour rides, hundreds of recharging cycles, the old standby is still going great. I use the eco-flash mode exclusively and I still get about 3+1/2 hours before the low battery indicator lights up. I bought the new Blinder Road because some of my rides are lasting longer than that, and now I can switch to the other light when needed. The new one lasts 4+1/2 hours before the low battery indicator lights up (the light continues to flash for some time after this, but I think it best not to drain the battery past that point).

I like the design and shape of the Blinder Road. To me, its look is uniquely modern while evoking the Art Deco designs of almost a century ago. The buttons are raised, more easily found with the fingertips than on the older model I have, but the mode functions are the same: eco-flash, flood, spot, and flood/spot combo. The Hi/Lo button works for each mode selection, but I use the Lo level unless I'm riding through a tunnel. The two CREE LEDs are plenty bright (on Lo Eco-flash) for general daylight riding but don't seem overly bright to oncoming drivers. The silicone straps and are very reliable yet are easily and quickly unfastened when the ride is over. I got years of use from the two straps that came with the original light. Overall, I will simply say that I liked the old model so much that I bought another one and I'm very pleased.

Awesome light

Small but nice upgrade from the older Knogs i had especially the 2 switches being proud on body, more tactile and way easier to find and activate in the dark.
Side lighting is a good thing as well. Just wish the battery was a little bigger for more runtime.

Bright and Compact

Perfect light for my needs. I wanted a compact commuter light. Something bright enough to get me home on my very dark commute home, but compact enough and easy on/off so that I can stash it in a bag as needed.
Defintiely bright enough for riding in full darkness as long as your ride isn't too long.

Great illumination in a small package

I love my Blinder Road 400 front bike light. It's a very compact size that doesn't take up much handlebar space yet delivers a powerful, twin beam of light that really illuminates the roadway. I also love the side-by-side, dual beam design that gives you plenty of illumination options.

Best lights

The best bike lights out. Convenient with usb, super bright and safe and dont take up a lot of space.

Please make a more adjustable bell to fit more handlebar widths!
